Who of value from the New Orleans area that Frank was recruiting flipped?

Here are the two flips to Ole Miss I know of. Only one from the New Orleans area, both 3 stars.

A 3-star O-Lineman (Jalan Chapman - a Brad Davis recruit out of Warren Easton) and a 3-star WR(Kervin Johnson Jr. out of Tioga, Frank is not listed as his recruiter).

Meanwhile, LSU flipped up a 4-star tight end (J.C. Anderson) and a 3-star O-lineman (Ryan Miret) from Ole Miss. Seems like a wash at worst and an upgrade for LSU at best.

Hire Honey Badger for anything...he will out recruit FW any day of the week going forward in SLA. HB has way more credentials, and will make SLA coaches forget about FW, as he fades our of the college football picture. He stubbed his toe going out the door. Not needed at LSU anymore.

I don't think this is Frank's choice. Kiffin wants Smith. Too many are turning on him. Coaches have to go to where they are wanted. It is a business.

Let him walk. He is great recruiter and average to below average RB coach. He should not be taking up an on field position coach when you are not great at coaching.

I think that it really doesn’t matter what he does. Our bowl game is an inconsequential one and he can’t help much at all in ole miss’ preparation for theirs. This idea of whether it really makes a difference whether he does or does not coach LSU’s bowl game is just a bunch of pissy Ole Miss-type shite. Let him do what he wants to do, as it really doesn’t matter at this point in the season.

Dude.

You are doing the exact same thing people laughed at Ole Miss for doing.

But, you are doing it with your running backs coach...who is leaving because LSU decided not to retain him.

FFS.

Man.

Can you not see a difference?

Ole Miss is in the playoffs competing for National Championship.

We are in some bowl game i couldn't tell you playing a team with nothing on the line for our future.

I pointed out the differences...two MAJOR ones. Let me restate:

* It's only a RB coach
* LSU is discarding said RBs coach...not vice versa

It being a meaningless game is true...but doesn't change that you have a desire to finish the season.

I’d simply let him go.. don’t make it a bigger deal than it needs to be.. he’s got a new job and he should go ahead and get started while thanking him on the way out.. let Baker coach the game..

I would as well. Give him a nice instagram post with cool graphics thanking him and talking about how great of a guy he is - but I'd cut him loose. Nothing to gain here.

Weird, he coaches an LSU bowl game when everyone knows he is leaving to one of our biggest rivals. shite let BB coach the team. I guess he likes pussy blue and red. Does not bleed purple and gold anymore. Fk him.

He is leaving because we don't have a spot. It's not of his own volition.

Yep frank wants an on field position and there are no positions to be had assuming Smith comes to BR.

Naw he’s committed to stay through the bowl game. He’s agreed to it. Him leaving would send a bad message to any guys he wants to bring with him

Too late in the process to have a different interim or to have Lane Coach the team in the bowl game. It is really not that big of a deal.
