According to this article, he runs a 4.6.

That link is bullshite. I went all around the web a few days ago and I've seen as low as a sub 4.4 to a 4.50. I'd say he is around the 4.44 and below range.

There were plenty of 4.4 DBs that couldn't stay close to Ruben randle (4.5) at full stride

Good point. 2011 vs. Florida. On the first play, that's Cody Riggs in coverage.

quote:

Riggs has tremendous speed as he proved by running the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.43 seconds) at the U.S. Army All-American Combine.

BTW, Randle did run a 4.42 & 4.43 at the 2012 Pro Day.

High jumped 6' 8", the same as Malachi and ran a 21.54 / 200 meters right behind Derrick Raymond of EJ.

40 time is overrated. He had enough speed to burn that Arky db so I'm fine with his speed

I'm sure he's plenty fast and a good player, but Landry and Mett burned that Arky defender, not Dural.

If you're right, next year is his last at LSU. But you're probably wrong by 1/10 of a second. When you look at a guy's 40 times you're seeing the lowest ones he ran - often at camps that exaggerate the times so that they get in the news. This is why NFL camp times are always worse. One of the posts above showed a more thoughtful way of looking at it, by showing a mean, a high, and a low.

Then Dural has legit speed and is a burner. Should easily break 4.5 at the combine (next year)

That site has had some wrong times too. I've seen guys listed that are a tenth faster in high, low, and mean than what was actually listed.

I've seen enough to know that he's faster than a 4.5 and a 4.6 is ridiculous.

That was as a junior in HS...his senior year he jumped 6'11" and won the 200 at 21.16

Bottom line, he is fast!

T.D. Runs a rough 4.4. He was able to keep up with Holmes in most races. (As you know Kavarha is one of the fastest in state/country)

He's got legit speed, hands and route running. Blows minds that he was only a 3 star.
