I post this stuff to Lester because he contradicts himself all the time but will never admit he’s wrong. I think he’s plenty knowledgeable and knows what he’s talking about, but the way he goes about it is why many people on here don’t like him.

I’m not sure why you have such a problem with me. Is it because I thought it was dumb when you told everyone how great the offense was going to be after the VMI game? Is it simply because I had a different opinion on whether they should have brought Ack back out for the 9th? Genuinely curious as to why you dislike me so much.

You’re an idiot lol

At this point I’m convinced you are a family member of Dutton. I’m happy as hell to see him go because he flat out sucked. Deal with it.

You answered your own question. I didn't say "how great the offense would be." You were crying like a total bitch about not scoring enough runs one game and I simply pointed out the record breaking performance this team had. That's a fact, not me saying I thought anything. But of course you twist it into what you want, and then bring it up 800 times.

Well he started 15 games on the mound for LSU. What does that say about our program?

It says LSU tried to develop the young man but it appears he peaked in high school. Regardless, he will have a good time at Auburn and be treated with the utmost respect because he started 15 games for LSU.

That is something no other pitcher or player at Auburn has done!!

I actually went back to make sure I wasn’t misremembering that weekend. I didn’t cry like a bitch about a single game, so I’m not sure where you pulled that from. At that point I said that this team was probably a middle of the pack SEC team offensively because of how much they were replacing. I said that you just had to hope they improve with reps throughout the year. I don’t think any of that was that crazy.

You responded to a guy that said “LSU has a problem batting, Jay’s not going to be able to fix it today. Get back with me in several weeks.” and laughed at him using the VMI game as a reason to why that wasn’t true.

Good for you

he flat out sucked

His era was in the 3’s until we played Texas A&M. His era was a little over 4 until he struggled in the SEC tournament and NCAA tournament. He also had one good outing in the SEC tournament against Tennessee. He struggled towards the end but you clearly don’t know what “flat out sucked” means when it comes to baseball.

Golly…..you folks need to put in your rez and coach LSU into a series of championships! You’re doing the public a disservice by staying on the sideline!

I’ve been posting here a while and have had people try and be the post police on me before, so it’s not new. You are just too stupid to do it successfully. You can’t even try a gotcha post without misrepresenting something I’ve said. I can’t count how many times I just ignore you. But it’s the same lame, insecure shite over and over and over again. Just seems like you can spend that energy better

No one is saying Dutton belongs at LSU, but you saying Dutton was bad because he allowed too many walks is just flat out wrong.

That was like the one good quality about him as a pitcher, the only baserunners he was giving up were from absolute piss missiles hit off of him. His stuff is mediocre at best, but he always stayed in the zone.

I agree he’s not a great SEC pitcher, but this comment about the walks is wrong. Shows you have no idea what you talking about. Only reason he pitched this year is because he didn’t walk people.

LSU will greatly benefit from the portal in all sports, but it is the easy way out for some.
Leave your state for an opportunity to play, if it doesn't work out, you go back home......the easy way out IMO.

So, Dutton is the only LSU player that entered the portal to be picked up so far?

Two different SEC programs have disagreed with you so far.

He was rarely consistent enough to go more than once through a lineup before they figured him out and hammered him. Yeah, he didn’t throw tons of walks, but he sure as hell gave up hits. He’s a JAG in the SEC and will never be more than that.

What does that tell you about his ability to face top competition in postseason form? He’s a mid to low bullpen arm for most programs.

It says very little. He had a good outing against Tennessee in the postseason and he was used very often against SEC teams in his career at LSU.
