I agree. And I don't think it's due to not being able to handle the pressure.
From his pressers, demeanor, etc. I think he just doesn't want this pressure. It's well known that this job is pressure, but I think in the past it was masked by folks who wanted the job. Saban was obviously a didn't breed. Miles was able to handle it well. Orgeron I think just didn't give a shite about the pressure and was thrilled to be here.
I think BK is here, realizing the pressure, and saying "the hell with this". I don't blame him necessarily.

Fans don’t actually know what it takes to be a winning coach. They find a winning coach, hear his press conferences and watch clips from practice and say “ah yes the source of winning. Other coaches don’t have this”.
We actually don’t have a clue. I have no idea what Cignetti is doing inside of that program in Bloomington to get these results.
And someone will come along with some folksy nonspecific platitude that just proves my point.

Nobody gives a damn if he is Southern or not. Saban and Miles are from West Virginia and Ohio.
The "fit" thing is just some lazy excuse people use. People do not like Kelly because he is arrogant but doesn't win anything.

You can be an a-hole and win and no one will care. You can be an a-hole and win a Natty and no one will ever care. You can be a dumbass and speak like an alien, but if you win a Natty and and play for another, people will not care. You can also win a Natty and have no clue how you did it and people will love you, but we’ll fire your arse as soon as you lose. So Kelly should have had that figured out by now. But instead we have the ineptitude of DiNardo with the bedside manner of a Billy Goat, and still he can’t seem to get out of his own way during a game. Yeah he’s won games, but I think any area high school coach could do the same with the talent we have.
TLDR: He’s an a-hole who doesn’t win the big games.

I think the biggest thing is that he is a fake elitist. He thinks he belongs in the elite group, but he is really just mediocre at best. Winning 10 games a year at ND is not an accomplishment, and when he has to play against the top teams every weekend he fails.

Go watch any one of his press conferences where he tries his terrible humor and no one laughs. He's a try-hard and has been since day 1 with the "famuhly" and grinding on a recruit things.
He's an uber cringe masshole from the northeast who thinks he's better than everyone here and carries himself as such.
Louisiana is a heavy community and relationship state and he has made zero efforts to connect with the fans and build positive rapport. You can get away with that if you win big, if you don't it wears thin quickly.

He does hire good gm/front office people who do a good job at portal recruiting though
