Why is it good for a player to leave when they want?

Anytime you hire a coach away from another program, he's quitting on his team. So, you really wany LSU to only hire someone currently unemployed?

I think Saban and Meyer are the only two coaches in the last 30 years or so to leave a head coaching job to take another head coaching job at a different university and go on to win the Championship.

Les Miles?

Mack Brown?

Bobby Bowden?

Steve Spurrier?

It's not all that common, but it's far from rare.

Every coach that leaves for another school quits on their team.

No. I’d rather hire someone who tells both sides that he will make a decision after the season is over.

That’s because you’re a dumbass.

Every Coach taking another job will have to do it before their bowl game or playoff. The new team will require them to be there for early portal and recruiting. Plus the old team will not want them there coaching for the playoffs.

This has always happened. Why get your panties in a bunch this year?
Saban left MSU after a really good season and good bowl game invite. Kelly left ND in a prime position that year.

Besides even the players aren't committed to teams anymore with the NIL and infinite portal trips. If they think they aren't getting playing time they transfer, or they transfer for more money.

Blame tbe NCAA. They made this happen with the early signing day. If they would get rid of it, then we could go back to hiring coaches in December and they could finish the season with their respective teams

I’m with you

He’s built a remarkable team

Anyone would would even entertain leaving is not someone I would want

LSU makes winners, not the other way around
