People have no idea of the rules but will bash officials and say the game was rigged.

That explains why the ref basically stands 3 feet away and doesn't look at the feet.

Would you just step back, take a second, and ask yourself why you're digging the bottom of the excuse barrel to defend this clown???

He's 14-44 in league play!!! Get some motherflucking help.

If a few of the posters here have legit sources, there's a decent chance Wade's coming back to fix this shite. Then you'll be happy when we're winning again right? ....Right????

So why do officials always point downward to the floor right before handing the ball to the inbounder when it is not following a made shot?

he's "marking" the designated spot.

and as long as at least one foot remains in (or over) that designated spot, the player can do whatever the hell he wants with his feet.

1 or 2 of our guys should have knocked it away. There was a guys standing 2 feet in front of the shooter. I think he jumped a bit too soon. It was a fluke play - their version of the bluegrass miracle. With Thomas we would have won by 10.

To establish the designated spot.

I didn’t see the play, but the 3 ft spot basically means you cannot fully sidestep and bring the trailing foot under your shoulders

And the late foul call on our center on the drive was marginal at best. We did have a couple of bad turnovers in the last three minutes

There are no rules in college basketball.
Ref gets to take his pick of violations.
What is a foul.
What is a charge/block
Traveling?.

Watch the replay - Kentucky inbounder moved both feet and slid to the right to gain spaceto make the long throw. Should have been a turnover and game over, Tigers win. Very clear and refs should have made the call.
A LSU OL was holding on the Bluegrass Miracle play.

Shoulda been game over.

Moral: Don’t put the game in the hands of the refs.

Yes, he could run the baseline if it were after a made free throw, but it was after a rebound. He can only use his pivot foot in that case and cannot move both feet or run the baseline in that case. Guarding the inbounds passer was the right call, but we should have had someone in front of their big guy to steal or deflect the pass and one big behind him to contest the shot. Never should have happened, regardless. Ref and our coach both blew it! ??????

I posted the exact language of the rule and even a screenshot of the page in the rule book with it highlighted.

the inbounder can move both feet all he wants and does not have to use a pivot foot.

he only has to keep at least one foot within a 3 foot "designated area" side to side, but can go backwards as far as the gym has room for him to move backwards.

Pivot foot restrictions and the traveling rule are not in
effect for a throw-in.

Even if it was a foul, we are not getting that call...think Bama in football.

Oweh should have been called for an offensive foul on the drive prior to the foul call on Miller. As he entered the three point circle he was guarded well by Jalen Reece. Oweh reacted and hooked his left arm around Reece's lower back and flung him backward. Reese lost his balance and fell leaving a clear path to the goal. The officials swallowed their whistle. Miller went straight up with his hands to block the shot. Its possible there was lower body contact but not clear. Regardless it should have been Tigers basketball on the offensiv foul that was not called. Kentucky would have fouled on the inbound but the final free throws would have likely been by Reese or Mckinnon and not by Tamba.

Referees were slightly favoring Ky, but we had plenty of chances and our guys didn’t take advantage of them.

We gave Ky one last chance and they executed their play perfectly, give them credit.
