I’ll say this, there is a group of donors that have been very involved with getting rid of Kelly, bringing Kiffin on board and spearheading NIL…they are very intent on bringing WW back.

Alleva wanted to fire Will Wade.
We got rid of Alleva.
Wade should never have gone back on the phone when he knew he was being wire tapped. Couldn’t defend stupidity. So woodward was justified firing him. But hiring Mcmahon to this contract was beyond belief.
But yes a significant group wants Wade and no one else. And we have a new president that feels the same way.

That's already in the red. Throw in travel expenses for at least 30 people for 2-3 days 6 times a season, not including post season travel. LSU spent $2 million on travel alone last year.

Good luck finding any men’s basketball coach that is good enough to get LSU anywhere close to a final 4 to come to LSU. Although I do have way more confidence in Verge and the new LSU administration to pay enough for a pretty dang good basketball coach than the previous administration.

Everything he says here is true; however, LSU in 2026 is not the same thing as LSU was in 2021.
That said, for him to leave NC State after one year, there would have to be some major things going on behind the scenes. Like admin lying to him, undercutting him, etc.
I give it about a 15% chance as of today.
