This is a better offense than last year. I don't think the pitching will be quite as good though. Limited sample size obviously so maybe I'll be wrong.

People thought our pitching was bad a lot of last season. Our pitching outside of Anderson/Eyanson apparently wasn’t good enough to win a title. Yeskie being overrated was a theme on here

Dardar's swing is a majestic thing of beauty.

He’s not as upright but the swing reminds me of Deichman.

I doubt we will have a pitcher as dominant as Anderson, but it’s taken months to get consistent in the pen the last 3 years. With the depth and experience, the pen should be really strong to start SEC play this year. Hopefully that balances things out.

I guess we'll see how it plays out. This team can rake though.

Pretty good chance it was the same people that wanted Eyanson out of the weekend rotation

People hated on Eyanson until about May.

I think what he's saying is LSU has a lot more pitching this year it's just you don't have 2 sure fire 1+2s when it comes to starters. To be fair though, Eyanson got considerably better as the season went on and LSU had the best duo starters in the country. Something like that might eventually develop but right now we don't have that on the mound this year yet.

And Shores looked like a lost cause midway through last season only to become our shutdown arm from the regionals through the final out in Omaha.

I always like games like this because you get to see some players that haven't gotten much playing time or the younger players. Always good to see those guys whether they're seniors just getting a chance to play or younger guys that you're getting to see the future of the program.
