Honest question, OP. Do you honestly think that Nuss has the football IQ at the QB position to make a solid pro? When has he shown you that he can feel the pressure and navigate the pocket with any kind of consistent competency? When has he shown you on critical 3rd downs where his leadership comes through to will the O into consistently moving the chains?

Anyone still trying to make a case for Nuss being remotely close to Daniels either has no idea what they are watching when they turn a football game on or are doing some weird race thing where they are giving the benefit of the doubt to the good 'ol white baw and nitpicking the black dude with braids.

This is just someone doubling down because they wanted Nussmeier as the starter in 2023 and will never ever admit they were wrong.

I doubt it, but happy for him; he deserved a better end here

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

As a fan, I haven't seen anything that would disqualify him, and I have seen him flash potential. He needs work and coaching up.

NFL teams aren't looking for finished products.

He needed to get healthy

Kelly was hiding his injury all year and we didn't bother to recruit a back up

He had effective blocking in 24 and put up worse numbers in sec play jordan jefferson in 09. Your loyalty to a lsu quitter is weird. He was paid to suck in 2025.

Actually, when healthy he was equal, at that time. See the . SEC Championship game. Nuss had the best performance of the season vs Georgia Defense, which led the nation.

This statement should follow you around forever.

Actually he’s going to prove how horrific his coaching was while at LSU.

He apparently had a very good senior bowl week and had barely any time in the game. Let’s pump the brakes. There’s been nothing that says he’ll be a great pro. He could be, but I think some of you are taking things a little far.

He could be good if he gets in better physical shape. Gets stronger and tougher.

I’m sure he’ll magically overcome being afraid to get hit at the next level where guys are bigger, faster, and smarter. Good kid, but he folds under any type of pressure and starts throwing the ball to the defense too often to ever be taken serious as a NFL prospect

Nuss will be the 3rd QB taken in draft by 3rd round. Book it

I hope he has a 15 year nfl career but all criticism of him the last 2 years has been warranted.

No it hasn’t. This past year the kid was hurt. He couldn’t throw. And the line was terrible. Kelly put all his eggs in Bryce Underwood and when he didn’t work out, he had nothing.

Nuss is barely 6'1 and plays like he's 6'6 and slow.

If he was a tall gunslinger but a short gunslinger who can't run and is pretty uncoordinated...

It ain't happening. He'll get drafted and NEVER start a meaningful game...

Hope he succeeds, but is the NFL changing the rules to limit defenses to a base 4-3 defense and a 4-man rush? That's what he faced yesterday, no blitzing, only DL could rush the passer...we know he can throw when not hurt, he doesn't make good decisions under pressure.
