We will not beat Miami. I’ll bet my fricking house on it.

with no line? just a straight up bet? LSU is a 3 point favorite right now I believe. Regardless, if you are serious, I will take that bet (if we are betting straight up with no points or money line).

We lost Guice today

We lost Guice, and Wms., but gained CEH, Brosette, LF2, and no doubt other backs who are more talented. The running game hasn't been a problem in a long, long time.

You have them losing to Tech?

Dude if LSU loses to Tech, Alleva and O might get tarred, feathered, and thrown in the MS River.

Following the Troy pattern. Yes I believe the Tigers will come out flat after getting hammered in Jordan Hare, and lose to Tech.

I would be proud of my alma mater for saving the LSU program and getting Alleva and O fired.

Because Miami returns most of a team that blew the doors of a Notre Dame team that beat us, and we're losing a good bit of talent from that team, without a lot to pin your hat on for improvement.

They also lost their last three games of the year, one to 5-7 Pitt and one by 32 points. Miami' schedule outside Notre Dame was an utter joke, which is why they got no respect in the polls

Defense will be even weaker next year. They are losing best two pass rushers, two out of top 3 DBs, 3 out of 4 starting LBers, basically all but one starter on the DL.

I think people are in for a rude awakening next year with a mediocre offense and average defense at best to start the season.

LSU.m could start the season 3-5 before even getting to Bama with ony 3 wins against SLU, La Tech and Ole Piss.

Did you look at our schedule? It was a joke too.

We lost almost as bad to Miss fricking State as Miami did to Clemson. No, we didn't lose to a conference team with a losing record (we slipped past Florida on a missed XP), but we lost to a Sun Belt team. At home, on homecoming.

Miami returns more players and has their schemes intact. We come in with zero offensive identity- we THINK Brennan will be the starter, because he got some time on the field this year. That's it. Who's the tailback? Who's the #1 receiver? What's the offense even going to look like? We have no idea. Miami has a pretty good idea about their team.

The ONLY point of reference is that both teams played Notre Dame, and that isn't looking very favorable right now.

As for the bowl losses- Miami lost a fairly close game to a team that was a drive away from making the playoffs with a 13-0 record (and would have kept Bama out); we lost a close game to a team that Miami lit up.
