I've watched a lot of softball over the last decade. Mostly LSU. This team looks and feels a cut above. I'm excited about this season.

Which is nuts considering last years team was almost exclusively seniors. You would think a step back would be almost certain. Glad to see we look so good though. Reminds me of the Bianka Bell teams.

Big shock to me. I figured Beth was gone after this season. Could end up being a special one.

They have two All American caliber pitchers which were the trademark of Beth's best teams.

Sometimes new blood is needed

In addition to making Bryce in charge of the offense it’s been positive thus far

It may be an unpopular opinion, but maybe the seniors that graduated last year just weren’t that good. Don’t get me wrong, they were good, but they lacked a strong bat. I think the fire Beth, fire Dobson, fire Lindsay crowd were all missing the mark….

100% although Pleasants was a All American her Freshman yr, then someone changed her swing and she went progressively downhill. I’m no smart person about hitting but the 1st rule is don’t mess up a great hitter

I absolutely loved Pleasants, Briggs, and Newland. But, they all plateaued. They were all really good, but there was no one to get you over the super regional hump.

It remains to be seen if this team does, but I like the energy so far.

The only hot seat she’s ever been on is the drive-by softball fan’s hot seat.

I'm starting to think this team would have made the WCWS last year if Coffey didn't get hurt

You’re just starting to think that a team that was undefeated and ranked #1 at the time Coffey got hurt might have made noise last season?

Fullerton game is on TV ... ESPN+

Already have to turn the sound off... between the announcers trying to say Bergeron and the wrestling belt man....

Grown men thinking a post will jinx a game is what’s hilarious.

The “fire beth” crowd only existed because there was no firing of Dobson or leftwhich. I think everyone agreed Torina has clear strengths but could be a lot better with changes.

Regardless of how it happened it feels like the program can breathe again.

Great win beating the number four team on the road. Did we fire Torina yet?

is Cal Fullerton any good? I don't see them in any rankings?
