Honest opinion, S. Is this recruiting cycle, particularly the portal, looking better than you expected?
It sure is for me, it's not really spectacular but it is certainly solid. I was expecting it to be extremely disappointing.

Didn’t really know what to expect but it’s gonna be hard to be worse than last year. We’ve added a couple guys than can score and shoot. Would like another perimeter shooter and a 4/5 who can rebound and defend the rim and paint. Sounds like we’re working on that.

Was #9 center in 2019 class. Has offensive moves and can shoot outside. Needs work on defense and rebounding but will definitely contribute.

Top 40 prospect coming out of HS. Originally signed with Texas. Had a couple of solid years at Nevada. Not a great rebounder or shot blocker for his size. He's a good offensive threat with range to knock down the 3.

Question is, why did he transfer from Texas? Couldn't play with big boys, covid, buried in depth chart, etc... Played well offensively at mid Major, but only 5 rebounds a game is pretty bad as a 7 footer at a mid major.

Keep in mind regarding his stats, he only averaged 25 minutes a game so you'd have to imagine he'd get more playing time here.
