Top tier programs don’t go 8-4. Top tier programs finish in the top 25 and beat average teams such as USC.The list goes on and on.

Also, some of the players entering the portal may choose to stay here after they test the waters.

I would also add that there are twelve teams that aren’t going to loose anyone or if they do a few for a few more weeks

Same with recruiting. Everyone gets hyped over commitments and if anyone says, "Well, let's see how many sign or actually stay with the program," then that person gets called a debbie downer and every other terrible name in the book.

Don’t panic everyone, p226 promises we’ll be ok.
I did a quick glance at the OP’s posts on the recruiting board thinking that he would be pretty active since he knows so much about the portal. The only post I can see is him saying last year that Maalik Murphy was a running QB. Just so you don’t have to look, Maalik Murphy has -97 career rushing yards.
