If we don’t lose Reed and Thomas the entire season and expectations are different.

LSU basketball under McHallman is the basketball version of the LSU Offensive Line under Brad McDavis.

Don't know if he's gonna make it to the end of the season.

It's getting close to "Farewell & Adieu" time for Matt.

Poor Matt. He was going to be a HOFer…except for bad luck.

You don’t lose over 75% of your games against major conference opponents…over the course of 4 years…and 40 or so different players by simply have “bad luck”.

He’s unequivocally the worst LSU coach, in any sport, in at least 30 years (maybe more) and we STILL have people trying to excuse that away.

No, but you do when you don't have the resources to keep up with the rest of the SEC AND have bad luck.

Matt McMahon is the SEC active leader in both moral victories and excuses for the lack of actual victories

The guy who won a NC, played for another, and went to the CWS multiple times?

The HIGH point of MM’s career is finishing 1 game over .500.

Still trying to grasp how Reed’s loss is so enormous when he only showed a few spurts the season he was healthy. Thomas is good but he got schooled by the Texas Tech guard. So he’s not the 2nd coming of an elite NBA point guard, at least yet.

And why hasn’t McMahon coached up Robert Miller instead of letting him regress?

Mc’Mahon needs to go now, not after the season is over.

I seriously think this guy either owns McMahon money or is in some sort of gay relationship with him.

I think he was talking about one of the 2 sports that matter to more than less than one percent of college sports fans.

Covered the spread barely lost by double digits.
It wasn’t double digits, it was only 11.

The new math double digits is 14+. Get with the times.

And at the guy calling out S.

With Texas, Ole Miss, and Kentucky winning, LSU is now the ONLY winless team in conference play.

Fun fact of the day:

LSU has played 120:00 minutes against SEC opponents. They’ve had the lead for all of 3:30 in those games (all vs A&M).

A-freaking-men.

The number of double digit loses in conference over the last four years is staggering. That literally screams out of your league. McMahon’s biggest conference win was 21 points against Arkansas. He may have had one or two other double digit wis. The other 11-12 wins have all been really close.

I think the administration wants to let him finish this year out so we don’t have to fire two coaches mid season, but we are looking at starting conference 0-8 until we play USCe again at the end of the month. If the losses are bad enough especially at home they may have no choice.

If ifs and but were berries and nuts, we’d all be happy at Christmas. It’s called depth, and LSU has had none for at least 4 years.

I think you make a good point, but, honestly, apathy makes it unlikely he gets canned before the season ends. The crowds are already small, people don’t really care right now and you’re not gaining an advantage in the coaching search by letting him go early. They can wait til the end of the season.
