BK because he did it intentionality. Do not kid yourself for one minute thinking otherwise.

Kelly. He is going to be a much larger drain going forward.

Coach O left us with 36 guys who could play. BK is supposedly an offensive coach who develops the OL. BK left us in way worse shape.

O left BK Malik and BTJ we have no one on the roster even close to the caliber of those 2

I would say O because of his last 3 recruiting classes. It’s tough to fault them on paper as they were all top 6 classes. We did get a few extraordinary players, but the depth needed to sustain a program was non-existent and resulted in the 39 scholarship issue.
You saw the depth that BK is leaving us with last night on defense. Also think about what last night would have looked like if none of the guys that are entering the portal had played. LSU currently has no depth. And if we didn’t have tens of millions of dollars to spend in the portal, we’d be absolutely fricked next year.

BK. Orgeron left him with a number of quality WR's and QB's on the roster as well as your starting tackles in the recruiting class. And the defense was solid minus one guy who left because Orgeron was fired and another who was processed by Kelly.

Shrimpy destroyed the program, then left us with Brad Davis, who in turn had a large part in destroying the BK regime.

Bk ! He had all the resources etc no Covid no major divisive political movements to deal with . IMO
O was a close second no doubt.

Yes I did, but more importantly, I saw it all season. Which is why I said if it weren't for the portal, depth going into next year would make Kelly the worst of the two. As it is, there is no reason we cant reload in the portal.
But last night is not a good indicator. It is tough to judge a defense that was literally playing their first game as a unit. Im probably missing someone, but you had arguably the top SIX defensive starters out in Delane, Haulcy, Weeks, Weeks, Perkins, and Pyburn (although I believe Guillory is in the top 6). House knew this and played soft as hell, especially in coverage.

But but both were homerun hires
If we are talking expectations when hired, Orgeron exceeded his by a shite ton. No one saw him winning a national title. But Kelly (with the exception of his first year) failed miserably at meeting his, as we did not play a meaningful game after Halloween the last three years, much less sniff the playoffs.

O for sho...BK was just a lazy frick

Don’t know but note that neither one is coaching anywhere since leaving LSU.

It's toss up. If you look at the rosters each coach left behind about a dozen contributors but I would say O's were better just on Boutte, Nabers, BTJ, Emery, Ojulari, Ward, Sai'vion Jones and McGlothern (had Kelly not run him off)
We don't really know what we will have left until the portal losses are assessed.
Culture wise, it's certainly not better or worse.
There was still some glow and wow left from the 19 championship. I'm not sure there is any glow from Kelly other than the Heisman and the brand took a beating this year with the messy end to Kelly's tenure.
