Didn't Malik try to keep playing and the coaches wouldn't let him?
Don’t remember hearing that. He was chasing a record. The game was hanging in the balance. Thankfully BT stuck it out and delivered the win.

I just hate what college football has turned into.
When they’re old men returning tonTS for a reunion, I wonder how they will feel about themselves having quit on their team.

Bowl games are practice for young players that need to prove they are ready and if they aren't then coaches will go into the staff to get players that are ready

At this point, I'd be surprised if any player declaring for the draft ever plays another bowl game that isn't in the playoff.
Wait until they start sitting these out too.

He don’t wanna be punched in da mouth!

I agree on bowl games at this point, honestly would be fine if Swinson sits it out. Let me see Carpenter, Cobbins and CJ Jackson opposite Reliford. All hands on deck when we go to Clemson week 1

HOW DARE HE NOT RISK HIS FUTURE FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A BOWL GAME FOR FANS!!!!!

Forget you pansies who support this. Be a man, show up and work. Youre a fricking trench dog, get out there and throw that DE around. If you're scared of getting hurt in a bowl against freaking Baylor then the NFL is gonna be rough. Such a horseshite excuse to claim its so you can coach young guys, we have a coach for that.

These are now shitty regional exhibition games, who cares?
The only benefit in playing them now is the added practice time and reps for the younger guys.

I’m fine with it. We have plenty of guys that need reps on the line. I’ve accepted that outside the playoffs that’s what bowl season is good for.

So if we were in the playoffs would he have played?

I accept it.

With the 12 team playoff, bowl games will just turn into pre-spring practice games.

Such a lackluster career for all the hype

He hasn’t played all year. He’s too much up Creed’s arse to play football. He was soft at Neville and softer at LSU. He’ll wind up at Cincinnati and get Burrow retired. He’s too soft for the NFL. Sorry but he’ll always be Neville scum.
