Nope. Both towards the OU endzone, where I was sitting.

Walking out of the Super Dome after the game and seeing thousands of people from all directions jubilantly heading towards the French Quarter for an unforgettable night of celebration.

Big Game Bob getting pissed at the sideline reporter (Sugar Bowl vs LSU) who asked him at halftime, how was OU going to score against the number one LSU defense. Guy started telling her how OU was the number one ranked defense....

Lost his shite.

He knew it was over.

^^^ It's this and it's not even close.

Spears' INT RET TD is memorable but Lionel absolutely destroyed White completely unabated on that delay. It was the coffin nail.

A good friend. a TAF big shot. back then & now, was having a fast coffee & muffin breakfast with Saban & a few other big shots, the morning of the game. He said he will never forget the look in Saban's eyes when he said "they have no idea what's getting ready to happen to them defensively". "Dead, blank shark's eyes" look. Their All American QB, Jason White, was quoted as saying he would go to his grave swearing that there was 12 - 13 yellow hats all over the field all game long.

My Dad got me hooked on LSU football in1964; I was 7 years old. I dreamed of a national championship but never thought we’d play for one in my lifetime. I used to tell people that I was born 10 years too late. But when Turner sacked White, I suddenly realized that it was happening! I cheered at first but then I felt the blood rush from my head. I got dizzy and had to sit down for a few seconds. Then I recovered and kept cheering until the end. Great moment!
