I would love to know how the site has ran/performed through these winter storms. Lots of plants/industrial facilities struggle to keep running through below freezing temps for an extended amount of time. Or they could have shut down until the freeze is over since they are not making a profit anyway.

SMACK, you have any intel on this?

Don't know. The plants where open. They don't need many people on a shift to run the demo plant.

So I know most all Lithium stocks took a hit today. Was this strictly from that article about price floors? I mean that news article was incorrect so Im confused.

No idea, but looking like another rough one today.

Freaking Albemarle down 8% premarket. We're down 6%.

Unreal the hit the lithium sector is taking these past 3 days.

Try 14% down, I should have sold a lot more when it hit 6.

Possible reasoned for the fall per AI “The sharp drop in lithium stock prices on January 30, 2026, was primarily caused by reports that a major Chinese lithium mine would soon resume operations, leading to concerns about increased supply flooding the market. Additionally, a separate report suggesting the U.S. government might be moving away from critical mineral price floor agreements added to market uncertainty. “

First time seeing the public react to incorrect news? It's frustrating and SLI has been on the end of it few times. Some more painful than others.

Trump's announcement this morning has us rebounding.

LINK

quote:

President Donald Trump is set to launch a strategic critical-minerals stockpile with $12 billion in seed money, a bid to insulate manufacturers from supply shocks as the US works to slash its reliance on Chinese rare earths and other metals.

The venture — dubbed Project Vault — is set to marry $1.67 billion in private capital with a $10 billion loan from the US Export-Import Bank to procure and store the minerals for automakers, tech firms and other manufacturers.

I didn't see the word "lithium" in that article, but feels that will impact us, by reading between the lines. Looking forward to more info on this.
