You’ve been consistently wrong for the last year and your prediction-that-will-prove-true is that rates will be cut…
I havent been wrong about anything ever when it comes to rate cuts
You are the clowns who said 12mnths ago no rate cuts
I said .5% and it would be a full by year end.
And Im right again that jerome is playing politics and is too late again

It’s a great day to add funds like VOO and VUG.
If you believe this will be the bottom, just a single day of pain.
I don’t think that’s the case, at all. What good news is on the horizon? Maybe a Chinese tariff deal? Rate cut has done been baked in. Earnings season well over half complete. Inflation ticking up. Unemployment missed by 30k but the downward revisions for May and June are fricking awful. Almost went negative!
I sold a good bit this morning. I don’t think we’re anywhere near the bottom.

I’m not bitter. Steve L is fine. He’s involved in a quasi pay for play relationship with the fed. It’s his job. It’s like sports reporting. I was just explaining my reason for saying he was a fed apologist. He is. It’s his job. His role on the network is to represent the fed’s point of view.

So, post a link to your claim two days ago that 5.5% 30 year, fixed rate, conventional mortgages are available. I've been asking for that link since Wednesday. Let's see it...

Seems like the mass amount of self deportation and law-enforced deportations is impacting the data
Well I guess FED and Powell will have a reason to not drop rates

The issue is that the treasury will be selling t bills left and right this quarter and it is temporarily going to pull a shite load of liquidity out of the market. I think it’s going to be a rough month.

Record high after record high coupled with sudden signs of economic weakness. Yes, definitely makes sense to buy in a 1.5% dip lol
You keep buying now and I’ll hop back in when we’re down another 5-8% in the coming weeks. Trump is going to try to fire JP now…let’s see how the market reacts to that.

I don’t get why you are selling when you are nowhere near retirement age.
Are you someone who trades the market for supplemental income?
I guess that could explain your decision.
Otherwise, you are making the same mistake you made in April

Uh, I made out like a bandit in April.
Using VOO as an example, I bailed at 513 on 4/1 and got back in on 4/7 at 465.

To the other poster: illegal aliens are added to the payroll data if they pay payroll taxes and have a “fake” ss number. Around 60% of illegal alien workers are on a payroll. So yes, large amounts of self and forced deportation would show up in data
I'd love to see where you got these numbers from? Our government that is seemingly making up Jobs numbers?
You may be right about 60%, but that leaves 40% left. I'd strongly argue that anyone that is self or forced deported is likely in the 40%.
Again, lets say you are right and those people are gone. Are those not real jobs that needs filled?

Show me anyone on this site that would pick strawberries in the hot sun for 14 hours a day making what those people made.

Disagree. Steve L. is pretty knowledgeable.

This right here is the story. For all of you who are panicking: This is what I voted for.
______
Who panicked?
Since you voted for this, get your butt out to the fields and pick my grapes. And don't make the price go up. Grapes already cost more than they should.
