Except the body slam and other player coming in stomping by the back’s head last night. Personally I think it’s football. Let the boys play. We’ve been called for a slam multiple times though. Seems subjective. Crew was from Thibodaux.
On the 4th quarter punt return by Neville that ended on Neville’s sideline? I couldn’t see the stomping. The Chalmette kid slinging the returner (?) probably could have been ignored (kind of, but not really a momentum thing), but it was on his own his sideline so hard to not throw the flag.

He has been coaching football for 30 years all the way from LSU to Neville and he told me that was the worst crew, specifically the line judge was the worst he had ever seen in his life.
Someone told me that was a Shreveport crew

If your speaking on the Neville/Chalmette game, that was not the Thibodaux association.

Anybody give Bunkie a chance to upset Dunham?
Congratulations, buddy, that was a slugfest last night. I wish you guys the best of luck going forward.
Sumner didn’t do enough last night, but I get kinda nauseated seeing a Jena team that you guys beat 41-0 march into the non-select semis.
Anyway, no excuses.

It was a great high school game. Sumner shorten the game. The wing t is a thing of beauty. The last time we were this good that is the offense we ran.
Our defense won that game.
Our defense won that game.

No. WM game
Where can I find the full game? YouTube?

I’m still waiting to hear how a Neville player is out for a half of the next gane
Posted on 11/30/24 at 5:47 pm to choupiquesushi
Wouldn’t he be out for all of the next game (per the rules for getting ejected) ?
Posted on 11/30/24 at 5:51 pm to chalmetteowl
Why did he get ejected?

I’m assuming two personal fouls?
Our whole sideline was waving at him and we’re lucky that didn’t escalate anything

Watch the replay. The illegal formations were the right calls every time. Don’t be that team that gets beat by more than 3 touchdowns and blames the refs.
The Neville announcers - who might be the biggest homers in the history of broadcasting - even commented about how bad the calls were.
There is no way a formation is fine for 12 games and illegal for the 13th.
It was one of those games where the bad calls were so plentiful they probably balanced each other out. Chalmette had their opportunities and could not capitalize. That allowed the bigger stronger Neville team to just take over in second half.
We can say that the officiating was horrific for a quarterfinal game in the highest division… and still say Neville played better and deserved to win.

Dunham’s defensive line is tiny. Bunkie is going to carve through the like a hot knife through butter.

Two UNS is a dQ or one flagrant UNS PF or targeting but unless a repeat offender only fighting is a dq for next game
And hs has no 1/2 dq
And hs has no 1/2 dq

I caught the 4th qtr of Dunham-LCA and it sounded like they pulled the biggest Dunham fans to announce that game. The dudes were screaming and cheering on every big play. I get being biased for your team but man.

What do yall expect on a high school broadcast? I’m not sure I’ve ever not heard an over the top biased high school broadcast. It’s fun. I’m not expecting Kirk Herbstreit out there.
