Taking Young over Stroud will be talked about for years

The Panthers don't have a first round pick

This board will never learn to not draw conclusions on players, especially QB's, in their first year or two in the League.

Peyton was absolutely trash his rookie season. He threw TWENTY EIGHT INTERCEPTIONS!

Plus, this is his line every single play. Just saying it might be a bit early to write him off.

I hate Tepper.

Jerry Richardson was great.

-His teams built through the draft (guys like Muhsin Muhammad, Mike Minter, Mike Rucker, Dan Morgan, Steve Smith, Julius Peppers, Jordan Gross, Thomas Davis, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Cam Newton, etc). Literally all the Panthers marquee players in their history were drafted, not signed through FA.

-Made a run every 5 years or so

-Actually loved the city and region where the team was.

Now you have this Tepper organization trading away years of possible production that could be acquired in the draft.

Lets stop using Peyton Manning's rookie season as the standard for "Even if you threw a lot of interceptions, you'll be fine.

We've seen that for 25 years now and 99/100 times, that player ends up being meh.

Guy is in his first season as a NFL QB. Lets give him some time to get better.

He sucks this year, but so many posts in here acting like his career is over.

I would’ve thought everybody learned their lesson with Josh Allen, give him 3 years.

Panthers roster is pure dogshit and Reich sucks.

I know it’s early in his career, but he looks worse than any of the (eventually) good first year quarterbacks we have seen in the last decade.

I will be the first to admit that I was totally wrong about him. I was so impressed with Young in college and was all in on him as a good NFL player.

I’m sure you can look at some Fournette vs. Henry threads from back in the day to find your answer

I recall seeing a lot of LSU/Saints fans praising Ingram when the Saints let him walk after his agent tried to bluff the Saints. Most of them hated him before that point, but he was loved and praised afterwards ...until he stepped out of bounds 1 yard short against TB

I was wrong on Young, I admit it. Although I do think he'd do far, far better in a better situation.

He was always a very accurate and smart QB that can extend plays with his legs. If he was 20 lbs heavier and was with a better offense, I think he could still be pretty good.

Something looks off. He is missing easy passes that he never missed in college. He was automatic in the short and mid-range stuff hitting receivers in stride. Similar to Tua.

Figured Bryce would put some good numbers up against a crappy Bears team but damn he looked awful. After 1st quarter seeing the throws he was making. I knew I made a grave mistake. I should of never started him in my fantasy league (Mahommes bye).

Young probably wishes that would have happened. His situation in Carolina is terrible with Reich and WR's.

It's still early I guess, but Young looks terrible. They should have just picked Stroud.

I’m off so far, but I don’t think we should be finished evaluating him as a QB on this terrible Carolina team. What a great trade for the Bears though, which I think most people even said at the time.

The only truly bad move the Bears made that draft was trading back a spot and letting the Eagles draft Jalen Carter.

Yea right after the trade Stroud's odds to be #1 shot up, then went down a few weeks later

What’s worse is supposedly they turned down an offer of multiple picks from the Rams foe Burns.
