If you’ve been with them since Roberts has managed, you have more experience with bad pitching moves in the playoffs than any fan ever in the playoffs. LOL

giants fans are taking this well
quote:

The Los Angeles Dodgers are a scourge on this world, a cancer of modern human civilization. would rather watch the Lakers, Yankees, and Seahawks all win back to back titles than watch the Dodgers win a single playoff game. My hatred for them and their "fans" borders on historical, even biblical levels. There is less animosity between Israel and Palestine than there is between myself and the Los Angeles Dodgers as a whole. If the Dodgers were to go 0-162, it would only be a tragedy that they were not able to somehow lose 163. They are hubris manifest. They are an affront to all things good and sincere and wholesome in the world. They are God's mistake.

Sasaki wasn’t throwing strikes at all. Nerves may have gotten to him.

I think it was the 3 inning outing Thursday. He just came off the DL so 3 innings taxed him pretty good. Same with Yamamato not pitching well his last start. his previous 3 starts had all been over 100 pitches with the 3rd one his career high pitch count. That catches up with you.

Charmed life if you're saying this after a game in which the defending champs had a starter go 8 shutout and win game 1 on the road.

Roberts has made some insane decisions over this 10 year run but he did an amazing job last season with very little starting pitching to back him up.

All pitchers were getting those calls all game long but bottom of the 9th and Sazaki got the smaller zone
