Gore made 1 2nd team all pro in his career. He was never among the 5 best RBs in the league in his career. Great durability and he’ll get in but nobody ever feared Frank Gore getting the ball.

I don’t think the HOF voters will see it that way but we’ll see. But it’s also possible neither make it this particular year

ETA; so many people in here not having kuechly in shows men are idiots just like women. 7 freaking time all pro. That’s pretty much the best LB that would be in the damn HOF
Agreed. All pro every year of his career except for rookie year. Short career though

Well that's definitely wrong. Gore is going to get in, and should, but at no point was he considered best at his position. Kuechly was 1st team All-pro multiples times and DPOY. Gore has longevity but Kuechly's peak was much higher.

Derek Henry is considered to be on the HoF track and he still has alot of work to do to catch Gore.
Derrick Henry could never play another snap of football in his life and he’s easily a HoFer.

It's so cute seeing official Chargers social media trying to claim Brees.

Brees, Fitzgerald, Suggs, and Vinatieri are locks... Wayne, Witten, Evans likely have to wait another year.. Gore, Holt and Manning will eventually get in...

this is so unappreciated most of the time.
The guys that get hurt often though cannot hide from that at all.
and that narrative follows them around almost in an unfair way in some cases.
I think about Kuechly some and how much more productive he could have been if not for his concussion issues. And he was truly great.

Anderson: Eventually in
Brees: In
Evans: In
Fitzgerald: In
Gore: Hall of very good
Holt: In
Keuchly: In (may be in eventually category but should be in IMO)
Eli: Eventually in (opposite of Keuchly: will get in this time but should be a maybe in later)
Suggs: Hall of very good
Vinatieri: In
Wayne: Eventually in
Written: In
Woodson: Hall of very good but will get in
Yanda: Hall of very good
This class is pretty stacked. I usually think less should get in than actually do, but damn near all of these guys at least have a case

8th all-time in career sacks and has a DPOTY award.

2 first team all-pros and 5 second team all pros. Arguably the best guard of the 2010s.

Zero time all pro
So was Roethlisberger but everyone says he's in first ballot.

Elway never made 1st team all pro. 2nd team only 3 times and he was a first ballot guy
I never understood how Elway won a MVP in 1987 and was a second team All Pro that year.

Aikman ZERO all pros total
Aikman has an All Pro. Sporting News 1993. Its not listed on Wikipedia but it's on his HOF page.
Every single player currently in the HOF has at least one All Pro.

Eli had 2 above average seasons in his career. Him being mentioned alongside any of those guys is a fricking joke

Looking at that list again and thinking about it more, I would advocate for all of them to be in the Hall save for Woodson and Manning. I wouldn’t have a problem with Woodson making it, but I wouldn’t have an issue with him not making it either. Manning I would advocate against.

That's a very good group

Does Drew Brees go in with a Jacob Blake helmet?

If Holt and Vinatieri are voted in, then that would make Super Bowl XXXVI one of the most decorated Super Bowls ever. 6 HOFs on St. Louis’ side and 5 on the Pats’ side including Madden and Summerall in the booth.
Not bad for a game that many at the time thought would be over before halftime.
