Don't know if this has been posted. I think it's a catch, not an INT, though not surprised the NFL doesn't really know what a catch is at this pt. Series of photos showing the play.

No. This has not been covered.
But it is still an interception.

They have a rule for it. Have you read it?

The defender was down with possession while the receiver never was.

That and scoreboard. Melt figs, melt

Just watching the Boutte TD - I would say Stingley pretty clearly attempted to kick the ball out of his hands when he was on the ground. Had he done so, it would have possibly been ruled not a TD. Sting knows the rules...

Well remember that the average Bills "fan" on here jumped on the bandwagon after Drew Brees retired like lsupride.

Everyone is ignoring the fact that Denver had already won the game if the refs correctly called the egregious holding in the endzone on Buffalo at the beginning of the drive.

The NFL is wildly inconsistent on what a catch is, but Buffalo wasn't screwed. They should have already lost the game.

Also, the NFL didn't rig it for Denver by not calling the obvious holding in the endzone that would have ended the game with them winning, but then giving them a questionable turnover and inconsistent PI calls. That was just bad refs doing what they do. This would have been the worst way for them to rig it.

So I have a question...with the cooks catch / int call in the game yesterday.....if the defender hadn't clawed the ball out but just fell to the ground with cooks.....at what point would the catch have been completed? When they both stopped sliding on the ground from their momentum?

Hell the refs marched Denver right down the field on that last drive with the 2 PI calls. Nix knew he was gonna get those calls so he just lobbed the ball up and waited on both plays. Nix don’t even complete a pass on that last drive and then breaks his ankle taking a knee.

LOL did the NFL blatantly rig yet another playoff game?!?!

NO way!!

I still can't believe people really and truly believe this shite is real

You are delusional if you think they are not influencing games. Out right rigging outcomes no. Designing rules and cooking enough confusing into the rules so they can manipulate rules when they want to. The catch rules are a perfect example, so is pass interference. Also these so called rules experts / former referees. If you get the info I bet the league is paying the network for these guys to be on TV to carry water for the league. None of their analysis is ever consistent. It varies from game to game and even from play to play within the same game.

so what should the rules be? What should they say in the rulebook?
