Lol, what? Without a Super Bowl, you need like 35k yards passing, at least, to get in from the modern era.

This has to be a joke, he's not close to Hall of Fame material so far.

a great RB can get in with a short career, but not a quarterback

If you're using Terrell Davis as the example, I'd argue the theoretical QB who played only seven seasons would also get into the HoF if he:

Was a 3 time 1st Team All Pro
League MVP
2x Offensive Player of the Year
2 Super Bowl Rings with great post-season individual play
1 SB MVP

Burrow would be missing the league MVP and Super Bowls rings and MVP, and overall resume just no where near good enough to win like TD did. Also, it still took TD 16 years after he retired to get in.

No. As a quarterback if you can't push your team to a superbowl win across your career, you'd better have a good decade and a half of dominating the league if you wanna go into the HoF.
Like Dan Marino. The guy was money but never had the total team to get that win.

Burrow may end up being another David Woodley. Talented, record setting, QB'd LSU, but couldn't finish the job.

Like Dan Marino
Dan has 61,000 yards and 420 tds

That’s not even accounting for the fact he played in a far different era

Hell no. He's not even on the ballot. Is this even a serious question?

Yes. There is a HOF fashion show luncheon on the Friday afternoon before the induction ceremony every year.

College Football HOF - YES

Pro Football HOF - NO

I love the GOAT with all my heart and soul but he is destined to be Archie Manning - A potential Pro HOF career ruined by being stuck in a horrible organization that either doesn't know how to or doesn't want to win.

Not everyone can be so lucky as:

Peyton manning who got drafted to the mighty colts and great owner Jim Irsay

Josh Allen and the organization dominating with 1 playoff appearance in 17 years and the worst free agency location in the nfl

Brees getting traded to the we’ll oiled saints with their one playoff win in team history

It’s very rare a top QB gets put into a good situation……They MAKE IT a good destination

Dan Marino threw a football better than any man who ever lived and played in an era where the 1985 Bears were almost killing quarterbacks.

Burrow wears cute clothes for his walk into the stadium.

Those two guys are not the same.

They love to ignore that Ken Anderson took the Bengals to Super Bowl twice in the 80s while winning MVP. Hell even Dalton had 5 straight winning seasons and made the playoffs 4 straight years before injuries, bad luck, and some offseason moves didn’t pan out.

The Bengals are historically a below average organization but they have had two great qbs and one good one find some success there despite ownership. Burrow just isn’t that guy. Good qb, but not good enough from a mental or physical standpoint to be a franchise guy. I don’t know why that’s so hard for LSU fans to accept but here we are.
