Atmosphere of dome games sucks major arse compared to outside stadiums. Thats why I loathe dome games in college football. I’d lots rather the home and homes like LSU/Clemson to see the game in Death Valley and fake Death Valley. Not in freaking Jerry World or Atlantas dome.

Need the dome for the Taylor Swift residency.

Jerry would never allow it

OKC and Dallas are roughly 3 hours apart

OKC would actually be a great place for the Chiefs. Chiefs vs Cowboys in the NFL and Texass vs Okie in college football.

I likely won't be around to see it but it won't surprise me if the Chiefs are not in KS in 25-30 years.

I feel like some of those teams are about ready to start threatening a move if they don’t get a new stadium so the list will probably get shorter

Will the Chiefs still be Kansas City Chiefs or Kansas Chiefs?

Well, why change when they are still going to be in Kansas City?

Our cold is so much more intense than your cold because you have no humidity corn boy.

Let’s revisit this discussion in May when it’s 85 degrees and you are passing out from heat exhaustion while I’m wishing it was even hotter.

The Chiefs have played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, since 1972, and it’s been home to the birth of a recent football dynasty. Their current lease expires after the 2030 season.

Lease?

They couldn’t buy the stadium 50 years ago?

Why would you lease a stadium for 53 years. What am I missing?

KC has both, it is nice for half the year and the other 1/4 is scolding, humid hot and the other 1/4 is North Dakota cold.

Topeka is such a shithole too. Might be the worst state capital in the country.
I don’t disagree about Topeka being a shithole but let’s not forget about Jackson Mississippi

I personally don’t want them. Taxpayers never win out helping fund nfl stadiums. I also hate the chiefs.

The humidity in Wichita threw me for a loop when I moved. It’s not south Louisiana but it’s not exactly pleasant either.

One great thing among many things at Arrowhead was the tailgating. One giant parking lot, people just park and throw down, have a good time. With the new “entertainment center” it sounds like that will be going away. Going to trade Weber’s and personal coolers for overpriced BBQ and watered down craft wheat beer, all served in a few overcrowded, probably shitty restaurants. I don’t mind the dome part, but the fan experience isn’t the same.

The highest dumbass thought in the world is southern people thinking nowhere else has humidity

Besides the west and mountain/desert areas, everywhere in America is really humid

For example Buffalo is currently 32 degrees with 95% humidity. Minneapolis is 28 degrees with 94% humidity But it’s a dry cold
