Any indication on what the Dodgers will do with Bauer?

They will release him

Cohen talked about the signing publicly so I lean towards a deal still getting done because if the Mets back out he’d have a huge player grievance case.
What would the grievance be based on? All contracts agreed upon in principle are contingent on passing a physical. It's all considered part of the same transaction, so essentially Correa isn't living up to his end of the agreement with a failed physical.
I think if anything they're being deferential to his status as a good MLB talent. With ordinary players this would be failed physical, deal off.

Confirmation from the club itself on the deal. It’s weird and doesn’t happen often but there’s a reason you usually don’t see official press releases from the club until a few days after a reporter announces they’ve agreed.

So apparently Correa had minor surgery on his ankle this off-season which is why the Giants balked and now the Mets are hesitant.
Could see the deal still getting done but now being more favorable to the Mets in case of an injury.

I would have thought the Steinbrenner family would be worth a lot more.

I think they need him
I know they have some arms, even playoff arms, but shite in the NL has got real and in a hurry
There's some good looking lineups and rosters that have been put together now

He is probably blackballed by the league at this point even though players like Chapman, Ozuna, and others have been let back in.

I think Bauer's relationship with other players was pretty much along the lines of what it was like with Barry Bonds. Not well liked. He was obviously arrogant and vain.
I don't think there's any doubt that Bauer is misogynistic, but this bitch clearly set him up. I have no doubt he was targeted, and this was not this woman's first relationship with a professional athlete. He was just the first that allowed himself to get played.
The evidence to support Bauer's claims are prevalent. I was actually surprised the league had enough to suspend him, and also surprised he hasn't sought legal recourse to recover his damages.
And I don't really care for the guy personally.

I've watched quite a bit of Bauer's YouTube content and he never really seemed that way. But ofc that's edited and for YouTube.

Bauer openly criticized and accused players and the league of wrongdoings
The man was very comfortable in his skin and not afraid to express his opinions
Ex-teammates have also openly expressed their displeasure with him as a person

Several players have appeared in his videos and comments as well. He has his friends in the league but I can't see any team taking a chance on him. MLB will make sure of that.

Saying that Dodger players don’t like him is just eating the spoon fed garbage the media wants to feed you. The players don’t care either way. They are all mercenaries who have moved from team to team throughout their travel ball and professional careers. The media is playing you.
It’s all a media game. Bauer will pitch next season because not every owner is a mindless drone. The Dodgers are in a corner not because of anything Bauer did but because they created their media walls and are now stuck within those walls. It’s actually pretty funny that they will have to release a stud pitcher because of their own self imposed BS.
