No team will intentionally go to Canada anymore due to the inability to get free agents.

No American player wants to have to live in Canada and deal with lower exchange rates, taxes, etc, all while having to go through customs after every road trip.

It was kind of a cool/niche thing to have Canadian teams 30-40 yrs again, but not anymore.

Blue Jays have done a pretty good job of signing and acquiring talent over the years and have always had a high payroll

NFL won’t touch Canada due to the CFL and NHL owns Canada…

MLB and NBA both have Toronto teams, and Montreal and Vancouver are honestly better markets than some in America. Both have MLS…

When Canada becomes part of USA, a lot of those cities will have pro teams especially in hockey.
