Rhea Seehorn wins. Another reason why these award shows are a joke.

She should have won a dozen times playing Kim Wexler on BCS and never won so they give it to her on the most boring show and depressing boring character.

It's like the Jim Thorpe award or Biletnikoff award. They award the wrong player and give it to the player who had the best year the season before. Its all arse backwards.

Didn't watch, read a list of winners. I wasn't really surprised when they gave PTA the wins for One Battle After Another. Or by them giving one to Teyana Taylor for playing a black Jezebel character. Hollywood loves to reward bad race movies.

And yet the biggest winner of the night was a film about William Shakespeare and his wife.

Sidestepping the usual politics and race wrestle for just a second, Adolescence was a great limited series call. Just watch it.

Also, Nikki Glaser didn’t impress at all. I'm not feeling the talent here. Her tasteless joke about epilepsy was ignorant and inexcusable.

Sure, if you say so. Doesn’t really have anything to do with the point I made.

I’m glad to see Stephen Graham start to get some accolades.

He was excellent as Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire. I’m still convinced HBO could’ve done a successful spinoff with the guys playing Capone, Luciano, and Lansky.

Literally a podcast guiding girls and women to be better at sleeping around. Again, not surprising but shows the complete lack of morals in Hollywood.

while it's mostly political talk I don't agree with, I'm glad Poehler won over CHD.

I've listened a few times and it's lighthearted "the View" but mostly wholesome.

i've heard nothing but good things about it, but I just can't bring myself to support this one due to Graham taking a Rwandan killing British girls at a Taylor Swift dance party and turning it around and making it about white male rage.

I understand you said "sidestepping," I just can't on this one.

That's why these shows are a joke. That podcast list was all celebrities and garbage. NPR? Give me a fricking break.

At least go with something like Pod Save America.

I don’t mind Joe not being nominated. His show is enormous, but it doesn’t do much special.

But if you have Good Hang and Smartless and Armchair Expert and you don’t have JRE, wtf are you doing?

Pure political bullshite in that case.

I’d rather they’d have nominated Take Your Shoes Off or Kill Tony or How Did This Get Made or a podcast The Rest is History. These shows are more than interview podcasts. TYSO elevates the interview format to being a comedy show in the absurd. Kill Tony is a comedy show the format for which is wholly unique. How Did This Get Made is funny but dives into strange quirks in film history. And The Rest is History or shows like it are entirely different from the standard interview format.

The nominations and winner were just lazy selections. And Good Hang isn’t even as good as Smartless, which it is a facsimile of.

Think its pretty obvious why she won for this show and not BCS.
