So, no Rebecca Ferguson? I think I have missed at least on of the most recent in the series.

I think this is one of a few series of movies that have all been good to very good. Tom Cruise has done a great job with them and as usual, I’m excited for this one.

Killing off Cavill was a dumb move

I say that as someone who loves every movie in this series

This just reminds me of those. How many Mission Impossible movies are there?

Not enough, IMO.

2 is the only what approaches bad to me.

Yeah, 2 pretty much sucked. 1 is very dated and doesn't hold up as well, but was awesome at the time it came out. 3 was pretty mediocre to me, but from 4 onwards they have all been very good to awesome.

1 was good but kind of a slow burn

Directed by Brian de Palma, whose style is completely different the the proceeding directors. But I do like that Cruise pegged different directors for different iterations of these. Kept it fresh.

I do agree that 2 was the worst, but I have fond memories of seeing it, because I saw it at the Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd. I would have had a great experience had it been the worst movie ever made.

The only thing I remember from MI:2 is the Limp Bizkit theme song.

Which is a very bad sign.

What y'all reckon ole Tommy runs in the 40? 4.3? To get that kind of hair flow has to be in at least low 4's. I wonder how much actual screen time of him running over the years would accumulate to be? He has to hold the record for that. I'm excited for this one!

At his age, his athletic ability is freakish. Something your fat arse would know nothing about.

The punk rock theme pretty much handcuffed Hans Zimmer's score, IMO.
