Kind of hard to believe they've made an entire trilogy out of what was once destined to be a flop movie. The studio listening to the fans and completely redesigning Sonic's look was the best decision ever.

They’re pretty solid actually
If you played the games especially Sonic Adventure 2 this trailer seems to be following that game somewhat closely

These sonic games have been the best video game adaptation I can think of.
Jim Carrey signing on to be Robotnik really pushed this franchise over the top... then when they listened to the fans and got rid of the retarded looking sonic....

I kind of want them to make an alternate universe movie with the ugly arse model. Just make it a comedy. They had scenes in that rescue ranger movie with the old model and were hysterical

They're better than they have any right to be. Ben Schwartz, Jean Ralphio from Parks n Rec, does an excellent job as Sonic.

My kid has had this on his radar for a while to go see. Keeps asking me about it. Been rewatching 1, 2 and the Knuckles series.

The movies have been very entertaining. Both of my kids are currently obsessed and Jim Carrey is a perfect Dr. Eggman.
