Fire up your barbie and crack open a Fosters because Australia is rebooting The Office and it’s exactly what you expect.

That looks fricking terrible.

That doesn't look good at all

They literally could not find a single attractive person in all of Australia?
Also, completely and utterly unfunny for every single second of that preview

Women arent funny enough to carry this. There, I said what we're thinking.

That might just be the most meh trailer I’ve ever seen. Didn’t really have any funny moments but didn’t have any eye rolling moments so that’s something I guess.
Nah every Aussie I’ve met are some funny frickers this just felt like your local Facebook mom’s group decided to do an Office parody

There were a total of ZERO funny moments in that trailer, and I am being generous.

From what little I've seen of Australian TV, they don't usually cast on looks.

I remember watching some Aussie TV shows in the 90s. Very unlike the British humour I had grown to love in the 80s.
I never warmed to Aussie comedy....its not subtle or clever.

If they had to reboot something, they should have attempted Parks and Rec and incorporated their harsh terrain and deadly wildlife. What makes an Australian office environment different than an American or British one?

That legit looks more like a (bad) Office parody or fan fiction film.

I didn't see one person do battle with or get murdered by an animal that would otherwise not walk this planet if there were a just and loving god.
In other words, looks like the boring part of Australia.

Australians don't drink that shite. If you go there and try to order one, they'll drag you out of the pub and kick the shite out of you.
Victoria Bitter or Tooheys is better.

For the five years I worked there, I worked for the New South Wales state government. I don't know about in private industry, but as far as the government goes it reminded me more of "Yes, Minister."

There's American comedy (at least traditionally) at the top of the mountain and the Brits are at Basecamp at 17K ft. And occasionally hit the summit.
Every other nation is basically walking at sea level 1000 miles from the mountain.
Australia and NZ I guess are at the front of that line..., but it's nothing special.

The main chick looks like she is doing a bad Micheal Scott impression.

I knew it would be awful and it managed to be much, much worse than I was expecting. Absolutely nobody will watch this trash.

This is the correct answer. It’s one reason why some of the worst episodes of US version were when Nellie was in charge.
After reading through the thread before watching, that was somehow even worse than I was expecting.

Fun fact: there's both an Israeli and a Palestinian version of The Office.
