Yeah being confused is about the only thing he does right.

And the OP is correct. Why the frick would you make Betty fat? It wouldn't be so bad if every other character wasn't perfect.

my girlfriend is a huge Harry Potter fan.. and her biggest casting gripe in the movies is actually Emma Watson as Hermione.. because Hermione is supposed to look a lot more "average"

To be fair, they cast all of them 10 years ago for a Chris Columbus movie. All of the kids were fairly amazingly great choices given the circumstances.

Emma Watson is average. Hell, the poor dear is going to look 13 the rest of her life. She has the build of an 11 year old girl. I would hit it but she is pretty damn average. You see about 20 hotter chicks a day just on the street if not a LOT more.

That's what I am thinking. I mean, I guess she's good looking in the vein of "celebrities are good looking," but that's about it. She'd be a lot less "hot" if she wasn't in HP.

My turn:

I can even understand the second part, and of course the more time you spend around someone, the more attractive they can become. But I don't think she's very attractive, and it always bugged me that Bruce Wayne would want to be with her...even considering their past.

But that's just opinions, and one we won't agree on I guess. I didn't think Katie Holmes was that great, but I bought her more than I bought Maggie Tylenol (even though she is a better actress).

I disagree, but it's a matter of taste I guess.

The Rosie post about Exit to Eden was spot on, although the movie did provide my adolescent mind with enough other material to get the job done.

Kirten Dunst isnt the greatest MJ, but even worse Jessica Alba as the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four movies. Just doesnt look right in that role.

She is a famous millionaire and 20 years old. She isn't my cup of tea but that wouldn't stop me from hitting a famous 20 year old millionaire. And I never said she was ugly just average.

While I kinda agree with that, the whole point of the Rachel character is one who Harvey (high profile politician) and Bruce (billionaire playboy) are essentially fighting over. It boils down almost solely to attractiveness for me. And no offense to MG, but she is nowhere near attractive enough to fill that role.

Just made it unbelievable for me that these two dudes would be fighting over an ugly-to-marginally-attractive chick.

Totally kige this. I also think Holmes gets alot of hate because she was/is with Tom Cruise. She's not a bad actress

Maggie is not a 10 by any means but I do think she is attractive. I think she is one of those women if you got to know her in real life you would probably not be able to resist. I loved her in Crazy Heart.

Drew Barrymore in just about every movie she's in seems wayyyy out of place

I was watching Starship Troopers yesterday and I thought Denise Richards was terrible. Dizz was wayyyy hotter in that movie. Her acting was just terrible as well

I'd also like to add Costner as Robin Hood and Owen Wilson in Behind Enemy Lines

Maggie G is JoJo the Dogfaced Boy. If she wasn't an actress, you wouldn't even give her the time of day. She's somewhat talented as an actress, but she's about as sexy as Ellen Degeneres.

Katie Holmes acts on par with Maggie in my opinion, and is WAY hotter. You just have to get past the vision of her and Tom Cruise making the beast with two backs whilst suspended above a throng of chanting scientology zealots who fling anchovie's at their naked bodies and sing Puff the Magic Dragon in operetic fallsetto..... <shudder>

and the rachel character isn't supposed to be super hot. she's supposed to be a childhood friend of bruce, link to the time before batman/parent's death (why he loves her) and an amazing and ethical legal mind (why harvey loves her). they're not chasing after her because she's the hottest thing on two legs.

MG perfect choice. Especially given the initial casting of Katie Holmes, and not being able to really stray from a certain look.

Nolan nailed it.

I cant believe somebody just agreed with me on this. Probably the first time since TDK came out that thats happened.

Not even close in acting skills. There is a reason she cant get casted in a good movie and MG consistently does. I'm not trying to hate, and yeah she is definitely hotter, but she is a made for TV actress, not a movie star.

Her being married to Tom Cruise has nothing to do with my opinion of her fwiw. But that was pretty funny.
