Zac Brown Band just opened a run there this weekend. Much like Chesney I can't see the visuals that are working with them.

Somewhat off topic but my cousin was out there for Thanksgiving and I believe went to see Wizard of Oz at Sphere. Saw pictures from outside on Facebook but never saw anything about how it was.

Do they make you sign up for a bunch of shows so you’re sphere effects are worth it?

Definitely a Pink Floyd reunion

First band that came to mind for me. They would absolutely sell out.

Depeche Mode

The Cure

Nine Inch Nails

Duran Duran

all bands with devoted fanbases that would travel there to see the, who all have a futuristic tint, and who do lots of video stuff at their gigs...

They will never play together, again.

Richard Wright died...

Roger Waters for some reason has chosen to pull for Putin in the Ukraine War publicly... and David Gilmour's daughter-in-law is from Ukraine, so the existing hatred has gone supernova at this point.

Nobody has mentioned that scrappy little psychedelic band from Australia with the funny name.

Stick Figure could do a 5-8 show run. Five years from now they could pull off 10+. I couldn’t imagine their visuals in that arena.

Talking Heads reunion could sell out a few weekends and the visuals would be impressive.

I just edited my original post to say that Chesney having a run there was surprising, and then I see your post.

Agreed, seems weird.

What is weird about Chesney doing well there. Dude sells out stadiums everywhere.

I would fly in to see Iron Maiden or Metallica. Coldplay could do it but I could definitely stay home for that.

Lonnie - just curious of your band recommendations that could pull off a Sphere residency ?

FYI - U2, Dead & Co, and Phish are 3 of the most successful and highest $$$ producing shows at the Sphere. Approximately 20,000 tickets sold for each show as ticket prices average $325 each.
