Someone posted a mock simulator with Bain going in the 2nd Rd. Your opinion being based off a mock simulator does not help your case.

He shouldve been a running back. He was all state on both defense and offense. He was a hell of a running back in HS. Either he didnt get developed or he was better suited for offensive side of ball. His size and speed will get him drafted in the 3rd or 4th round easy.

Some coach somewhere will say he has a position on the defense in their scheme. You cant coach speed.

Every one that I’ve seen has him going sometime in the 4th.

My name is strongoffer. I don't watch football whatsoever except the Saints and LSU. Therefore, all LSU players should play for the Saints.

The Browns took Jeremih Owusu-Koramoah 2.52 in the 2021 draft. JOK will likely have to retire due to neck injury. I wouldnt be surprised if they added Perkins in the 2nd or 3rd

This is JOK's profile. HE was a hybrid tweener too out of ND. The Browns had him rolling and in the pro bowl

I still think there’s a system out there that could fit him and make him a star. But it isn’t here.

Dont ever compare JOK to Perkins.

JOK was dominating college kids. Perkins got dominated by Nicholls.

Perkins finished LSU with

19 Sacks
8 Forced Fumbles
5 INTS

It's just Insane playmaking over a 3 year career when you write it out on paper. If he gets on a defense where he can just be one of the guys, and not the guy, he's going to make someone happy.

That’s fantastic production from his position.

They tried to change who he was and it didn't work, he's an assassin type player not a cerebral one. See ball get ball, see QB get QB that's what he was good at. Hard pass unless you get him in later rounds

agreed, he was best his freshman year when it seemed he had free reign to read and react. He could just spy the QB and if he saw a lane open, he had the green light to go after him, which really fit his skill set. Trying to fit him into a structured defense position like where he had to line up on the line on the edge and rush, he would just get over powered and easily handled and at LB he just seemed somewhat lost.

How would we feel getting Perkins in the 3rd round?

I would take a shot at 4th round.

I could see him going to the Cowboys, Texans, or the Rams
