Passing on Bailey and Downs, smh…

Pretty sure Bain will be the one there when we on the clock not Bailey

FREAK, with production. Don't think he'll make it to us, but I take him even over love

Would the Chiefs give up a lot to move up one spot and draft Love?

You'd still get a damn good player and more picks.

Many pundits are putting Love in the top 5 now

We will end up with 1 of:

Caleb Downs
Sonny Styles
David Bailey
Jeremiah Love

Might be whoever falls to us but it will be a hard decision if it ends up a choice.

This is my wish list plus Arvell Reese. In theory, they could all be gone by 8. Need two OT and/or WR and/or Bain picked before us. Not a great OT or WR year for elite players, teams may wait to get later in draft, and Bain may slide due to length issues...

If we passed on Caleb Downs or David Bailey I would break my TV.

Bailey won’t be there at our pick in the real draft, but Downs might.

Don’t F this up

I’d be pick Tate over love. But only if the defensive edge guys are off the board.

Receivers are going for 40 million a year.

Trade down a few spots and still get a stud. For example, Mansoor deletes receivers.

33rd team guys give us Fano here. That would be as a guard though and I think it’s too high for that position

Can't imagine David Bailey falling out of the top 10.

Well he is undersized and a liability in the run game. It works for the saints in a 3-4 but not a fit in a 4-3 unless you can put some weight on him and his speed is his best asset so you don’t want to compromise that. Could be a pass rush specialist and that may be enough but limitations are there. That is why he is kind of all over the place in the drafts early on. He is settling in as a high pick on mocks but we don’t know that stays the course.

I am a huge fan of Caleb Downs, and I definitely would love to have him………BUT he’s not THAT much better than Thieneman. Which is why Thieneman has started moving up the board by many pundits (some showing him top 15).

So if I had to pick between Bailey or Downs…. I would take Bailey.

Between Downs and Thieneman……I think downs is better, but I would be happy with either. I don’t think the Saints would pick a S in the top 10 with the needs we already have on the roster (with really good prospects on the board to fill those needs)

Would trade this year second and next year first for Downs if he falls out the top 10

You’re out of you damn mind. No player in this draft is worth a high round pick for 2027

Of course you never know until they play in the pros, but this seems like a freaking stacked draft class.
