That can be said for players from other teams who did not make the SB during the same timeframe.

Does not seem like a productive topic.

Jimmy Graham sought this career path. Where'd it get him? Right back here!

How is it not ricky williams. He went to the biggest clown car team at the time.

Ricky was without a doubt a hall of fame talent. Guy still managed 10,000 career rushing yards despite the saints sending his first 3 years up in smoke.

Saints have screwed up more promising careers. It’s sad.

Without Ricky Willaims and Haslett's dislike for him Deuce would have never been a Saint.

I agree big time on that one though. Ricky went to Miami and started going the frick off.

The Saints were compensated though.

A loss in some ways but in the grand scheme? No.

Imagine how many Super Bowl rings Drew Brees would have if he had played for a successful franchise.

You mean the players that voluntarily signed contracts to be here? Every player in the NFL has potential to be one of the 53 on the Super Bowl winning team every year, after their rookie contract is up they choose to stay or go.

Possibly, Cam. The guy has been a bright light for the defense…

You could say that if not for the Saints and Sean Payton. No one would have ever heard of Hill.

My favorite Saint. I really wish he broke the record for 100yd record in straight games. He was on pace.

He kept playing so that Tom Brady would not come here and win with “Drew’s team”

This logic would imply that Drew was the problem and not the roster.

He had his best years in the league with Miami. Ricky is not in the HoF because of Ricky, no one else. It had nothing to do with the saints.

This whole thread is revisionist homer nonsense..

Deuce's best season he finished 400 yards behind Jamal Lewis.. and NOBODY would have ever traded Ladanian Tomlinson or Priest Holmes for Deuce McAllister at that time

I think Willie Roaf would be alot more famous if he had spent more of his career outside of the media black hole of New Orleans
