Podnah I hope you are black because there are most certainly places where white people shouldn’t go and it isn’t plank rd or Florida blvd areas. I go to north BR all the time and never have had a single issue but spots? Man there are some spots you really just shouldn’t try that.

I’ve heard Supper Club. The Who’s Who of BR goes there, so I’ve heard.

Don't take any chances in the city limits, head down to Roberto's River Road Restaurant. Get the Ribeye and Bread Pudding for dessert. Thank me later.

Not sure if he is still in business but if I had 24-36 hours to kill in BRLA my first call is to Derrick Perkins AKA Stanka. That man knows how to show a baw a good time.

Grew up there and graduated from LSU and can honestly say I have never been on plank rd. Don’t even know what’s there to give one a reason to be there.
We would get Krispy Kreme donuts there in the 90s. Other than that I got nothing.

Happy's Irish Pub in downtown. Then go to the bus station and ask for a guy named Stanka.

Avoid Ralph and Kacoo's, personally I found they stopped serving my favorites and it takes a long time get seated.

I’m in the minority but I actually like BR. It’s not nearly as bad as people on here say.
Traffic is as bad as people say though. So take that with a grain of salt. It’s got big metropolitan traffic but it’s really only a medium sized metro area.
