30A isn’t trashy at all. It’s incredibly overcrowded and expensive because basic white people want to use it as an Instagram location.

It’s a hell of a lot more convenient to load my car and drive to 30A than to fly out of the country, having to go through customs and such. Mind you, I’ve only gone to 30A once and that was just for a day trip.

Ive been in 30A in November for about 35 years running - probably my favorite time to be there

I like La Jolla a lot but it’s not taking over 30A for me. We do Sea Island a good bit but I’m not sure if we’d ever consider buying in the area or making it a tradition. We’ve done some coastal Maine scouting as we’ve got some friends who’ve bought up here.

They don’t call it the red neck riviera for nothing. I’m much more likely to be found at a mountain/lake vacation than the beach. Especially a beach who’s made up of Alabama and Florida beaches and all that comes with that.
