Define long. We have people commuting atrocities against actual humans getting off with a slap on the wrist. I’d like to see them actually get punished before we start jailing people for huge sentences for crimes against animals no matter how disgusting.

She’s 1000% guilty.

She caused a beautiful trusting and defenseless domesticated animal to have an excruciating death. I don’t see the grey area.

Despite her external beauty she’s guilty.

This isn't neglect. You can't leave a dog locked in a cage for several days with no food and water and not know what the outcome would be. She murdered this poor dog

In the U.S? Nah. Since the early 2000s dogs have become humanized and most people think pets are worth more than a human life, including everyone on this board with a pet. Most on this board would save their own pet’s life over a non-immediate family member’s life. Death penalty is the only acceptable punishment.

Is this woman a horrible person and a moron? Yes.

Is she a criminal? No. This is a prime example of the over criminalization of society. We should not be wasting judicial resources and saddling people with felonies over leaving a dog in a kennel.

This isn’t the first time she’s harmed an animal.

This psycho bitch would do the same thing to her baby. How people treat animals is a good barometer on how good or bad of a person they are.
