I had one for lunch yesterday. They’re still as divine as they were 20 years ago.

The traffic is very predictable and only bad during commute times, sorry you are an OT poor with no flexibility in work hours. Try obtaining an advanced degree and possibly move up in the organization.

I assume it is bad, but this time of year will be the absolute worst.
The next 2 weeks, particularly Friday evenings will be the worst traffic of the year.

we go to Covington to eat just as often as we do Hammond, it’s 20 mins from my house. Pro tip; approach downtown from the west on 190 and there’s never any traffic. If heading east on 12 exit at 1077 (but not 21 for gods sake) and head north to 190

Tchefuncte Country Club has lots going for $600k and from all accounts there is no traffic in that subdivision.

TBH….I’ve got 7 days to go hit up all my spots while visiting family. There’s no room for new spots but I appreciate the rec.

Pretty soon TCC will be no options to build unless you want to do a tear down of one of the OG houses. Not much left in the Sanctuary to build on unless you want to be in the swamp. I see CCC and Riverwood to see a resurgence of high end due to some water access and location.

I grew up in CCC in the mid 70s it was heaven on earth for a kid. We had the river, the golf course ponds, the pool and game room/grill at the club, and the vast woods between CCC and where they built beau chene. Our fort is probably still in those woods somewhere
