I remember this being a thing with me even before I saw the movie, and no one had to tell it to me. Was a deal driving the parents' cars and my then my own 1st two used cars, a '74 Torino and a '72 Plymouth Fury.
And they had to reeeeaaallly slide or stretch over and unlock that Fury-- it was BIG and WIDE.
The problem is, with today's technology, it's NOT a thing anymore for today's kids. No. 1 basically every car has a center console today, not a bench seat, which makes it difficult for a girl to slide over and unlock the driver's side door.
But also No.2 , everyone has an alarm/door unlock clicker on their key or key fob, or in newer cars there is the thing where you don't even have to click; the car senses your keyfob when it is in close proximity and it unlocks it when you put your hand on any door handle.
(By the way, my petite 5 ft. 2 future wife ALWAYS slid over in those cars and unlocked the door from me. And I still appreciate her.)

I value mine very highly every day.
I wouldn't change a thing (if I could) in our meeting and the events ever since.
But thanks for the reminder, I can't be reminded too much.

My wife is the shite. Attractive, smart, successful, independent woman.
I feel bad for all of the guys here that constantly complain about how stupid or worthless their wives (and ex-wives) are.
Advice to any young bros on here. Picking a capable woman to be your life partner and the mother of your children is literally the most important decision of your life. Choose wisely.

You say that but odds are if she died you would remarry and say the same about your new wife.

Without my wife, I’d be a sad hoarder lying dead under a collapsed stack of old newspapers.

One of my wife's colleagues immediately said that I must be having an affair. They were apparently serious.
How sad is that? They go so unappreciated in their own marriage that they are suspicious of people that show their appreciation to their spouse. That makes me feel so sorry for them.

Been there and didn’t realize it until after the fact. God punished me by taking my wife and putting her in a wheelchair due to a brain injury. Then letting me watch her die slowly over the next 4 years.

You not being able to function without a baby sitter is not a surprise at all Now all the incels can come in here and call everyone a simp for not hating women Also, you’ve posted about your wife going to Delgado, I’d love to hear your definition of “a lot of money”
You love attempting to come off as edgy, but always wind up being a mouth breathing fig. No wonder nobody likes you on these boards.

If it wasn't for my wife I'd only know that a bill is due when the power got shut off.

Absolutely.
