Loved the series. Watched it all until the latest release. Once I heard they made the lead character gay, I stopped watching. Just like when the Boyz decided to make Frenchie gay, stopped watching.
Call it whatever you want, but seeing two dudes kiss turns my stomach and I can’t watch it. Now, two chicks making out is a different story……. As long as they’re hot and not Rosie O’Donnell types.

Actually haven’t heard of it before until tonight when my oldest sons girlfriend said she’s watching that instead of football or Nashville countdown.

First season was good. Nice good small town Sci-fi mystery.
I would not and can not recommend the following seasons. Just stop at 1. I haven’t seen the final season and don’t have any interest. It felt like a chore getting through some seasons to see how it plays out, but these episodes are so long and reviews online and from wife and friends haven’t been good.

I enjoy the show. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s enjoyable enough. Some seasons are better than others.
The “gay stuff” isn’t as in-your-face as people are trying to make it out to be. A kid is gay. That’s it. He doesn’t try to kiss his friends or anything.

I stopped at season 1. Thing is I thought it was decent and usually like sci-fi but just never felt like watching more of it for some reason

The first season was pretty revolutionary and unique at the time it came out but I never felt much urge to continue watching seasons after that.

We watched the first year and were getting tired towards the final episodes.
When the second year happened, we missed it.
Is this the third or fourth? Pictures of the cast as they are now significantly older don't bring up memories of those kids what seems like decades ago.

I can’t deal with the multi episode story lines of these new shows. I’ve starting watching OG matlock. Closure in 30 minutes or less.
