We were married four years before we started a family.
However, I had 14 months of Military Service to finish, when we married. Then I started college. We decided to have our first child during my Sr year in college.
I wouldn't change anything. However, my wife is an "Iron Lady". Not many marriages could handle her working full time as an RN, and me a full time student. We made it work.

My wife surprised me at dinner on our 1 year anniversary with the news she was pregnant. She was about 6 weeks at the time. My reaction did not go over well with her at that moment.

Got married on Friday, January 13th, 1978 and our son was born on June 13th, 5 months later.
