If you are 54 years old, have the fat face that sweats easily, overweight and would die if you attempted to hike 1.5 miles in the woods with a pack and a weapon, then you are indeed not going to make it.

Fried food, malt & barley, no exercise, carb city, high fructose soft drinks, all will doom you.

This is dumb. The democrats in the red states drag the numbers down.

The red states on the list were all blue when today's olds were young.

But what really makes it dumb is that people move, thereby making the numbers meaningless.

You want to think a bit more deeply about the similarities between ghetto culture and redneck culture?

Seems like if you combine both in the same state, the math of life expectancy may surprise you.

Sometimes people don’t think it be like it is, but it do.

Ironically the states with highest weed consumption also magically mirror the highest life expectancy.
Correlation does not imply causation for the 11-ty billionth time here.

I have had this discussion with a few doctors. They said that Southern states are over 40% black which brings the numbers down. Compare apples to apples. I would rather eat the food I eat in La than eat bark and dies 6-8 mo sooner.

That's what happens when you're married.

One thing for sure, you'll find life expectancy higher in places where people utilize outdoor activities the most.

In general, if there's good skiing in your state, you're going to live longer on average. Just so happens that blue states have better ski areas. I live in a deep red state that's also deep green on the map. And we have pretty decent skiing here.

Look at the demographics in a lot of the states with low expectancy.

Hint - Lots of people dying in their teens and 20s over bullshite.
