I feel like I’ve seen these rules back in the 90’s in Orlando and Springfield. It’s nothing new.
Granted, my fingers would have been less stinky and I may have dodged mono if Cortana had this rule in the 90’s.

At least they are trying. Once they are re-annexed into St George, that place will become Xanadu.

I refuse to go to a mall nowadays. The black teens and white trashy behavior is just too much.

This won't change anything. Doubtful it will be enforceable by mall cops.
It's a culture issue that deems these behaviors acceptable.

I imagine most wont have an ID when asked. Then racism will ensue.

I think the last bastion of any remote police intervention at the Mall ended the day the city annexed it. When the EBRSO was there, you saw cops all over the place. Even had one of those little mobile towers to check out all the action.
Now you have BRPD there and I can guarantee you they give zero fricks. Now, it's all good and clean fun until your grandmaw ends up on her back because someone was playing the "knock out game" in the food court.

seems like the new norm is to take away all public spaces because people can't behave. It's pathetic. We need to enforce laws and order in this country.

Honestly raise your hand it you think the adults having to "chaperoning" these young scholars won't be just as bad if not worse than the youts themselves.
Just accept it, large gathering of individuals with questionable moral and values will equal violence in 100% of the instances.

This will be an epic failure.
How many employees will actually want the job of confronting groups of young people to inquire about age?
The only way this can succeed is if they hire a bunch of black grandmas that look like Madea. Use those movies as training videos.

I went to our mall for the first time in years this past weekend. It was like a magnet for the lowest common denominator of my area. I will not be back

Never had a problem there personally other than hating going there (and pretty much any big shopping area) any time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
But nothing is going to change the fact that malls like this are dinosaurs and are becoming less relevant every year. E-commerce giants like the ones at Cortana (Amazon) will eventually kill malls like Mall of La.
They are redeveloping the old Sears into a super Dicks Sporting Goods with a huge Golf store. But the next time a national department store goes under, they will have to build hotels or some other kind of development that isn't traditionally found in most suburban malls.

You are in Lafayette?
I know Acadiana Mall is super depressing and largely neglected, but I didn't think it was THAT bad.
Mall of LA is in better shape, but the problem is the fact that shopping malls and the stores that go into them are not really in favor anymore.

Everyone else is punished because of the actions of "teens"

Hmmm….something about those pictures, I can’t quite put my finger on it.
