Scenes of death or peril don't bother me but get that nasty hog out of here.

The killer took the photo immediately before she died
It was the serial killer Robert Ben Rhoades. The picture was shown to the jury, during the trial.

Robert Overcracker, A Professional Stunt Man, Drove A Jet Ski Over Niagara Falls To Raise Awareness For The Homeless Back In 1995. This Photo Was Snapped Just As His Parachute Failed To Deploy, Sending Him Down To His Death

There’s a famous photo found at a convenience store parking lot of a teenage girl and a young boy bound and gagged in the back of a van. The girl is believed to be Tara Calico who disappeared in 1988. The culprit was never found.
I’m not posting it, but it’s out there if you’re curious enough. It will piss you off.

These are photos I took on June 6, 2014, down on the river, downtown Baton Rouge. I see a guy riding a kayak and thought he must be crazy as shite. They found him dead in the river a few days later.

This haunting and eerie photograph was taken by David Seymour (one of the founders of Magnum Photos and one of the leading photojournalists of the 20th century) in a home for emotionally disturbed children located in Warsaw, 1948. The assignment at the center that day was to draw “home” on the blackboard. While other kids drew houses, Terezka, who grew up in a concentration camp, had a different idea of home. One can only wonder what the scribble depicts, but it seems as if the pain and the horrors endured on the camp is clearly seen in the piercing glare of Terezka.

Delphi, Indiana this guy murdered two girls. This image is from a snap chat video that was taken by one of the victims shortly before they were murdered.
The guy still hasn’t been found yet.

An older friend and his then 16 year old son were there and diving that day.
They were on their way back in and the boat captain wanted to rush to shore when the water went out to try and save his family.
My friend and another guy took control of the boat and headed back out to sea to await the tsunami a few minutes later knowing they would die if they went in.
They spent the next 2 weeks stuck there and performed body recovery offshore for the locals. The father was a hardened Vietnam veteran so it didn’t shake him up too much, the son was shaken by it but still wanted to help with the recovery.
Was a crazy story.

They found his body covering the film, when developed showed the wall of ash heading his way.

This one seems like a PSA similar to the tsunami pic. If you're hair stands up, you are about to get hit by lightning.
quote:
This seemingly fun and lively photo of two brothers - Michael and Sean McQuilken - was taken at Moro Rock in California’s Sequoia National Park on August 20, 1975. The photograph was captured by their sister Mary just seconds before they were struck by lightning. One of the brothers later recalled: “At the time, we thought this was humorous. I took a photo of Mary and Mary took a photo of Sean and me. I raised my right hand into the air and the ring I had on began to buzz so loudly that everyone could hear it. I found myself on the ground with the others. Sean was collapsed and huddled on his knees. Smoke was pouring from his back.” At the time, all the three survived, but Sean, the younger brother, sadly took his own life in 1989.
Also, I am not sure what the suicide has to do with the pic. It seems like unnecessary information to me.

That was Regina Kay Walters, taken by Robert Ben Rhoades, the Truck Stop Killer, just before he killed her. He cut her hair and made her put on that dress.
This is the guy

Unless there is a mountain behind me the tsunami means death.
Not really. If those girls are in shape they can haul arse. They would be 300 yards in land, and probably 10 feet higher when overtaken. They could also climb a tree. If the wave actually hits them they might be smashed to death, but they might be washed inland and resurface quickly. In that case they would need to wait until the tide is spent and grab onto something solid so they are not pulled out to sea. Lots of people hit by tsunamis survive.

God dammit. That is creepy.

At a first glance, it looks like any other high school picture – a bunch of teenagers smiling and showing silly faces. However, you can see Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold and their friends in the far left corner pointing pretend guns at the camera. Just a few weeks later after the photo was taken, Eric and Dylan would shoot 12 students and 1 teacher dead in a meticulously organised school shooting in Columbine.
