OP's link on the first post says:
Where did you see this? Have they indicated that they now think it's a homicide?

Nah, I said that when I created the thread because they initially said foul play was suspected and were doom and gloom. I just updated it to a more realistic headline - though I have no doubt this woman is dead somewhere.

The longer it goes I'd definitely think that's most likely. She's high profile enough that the kidnappers had to expect it would be pretty public. So now it's turned into another kind of show. How long can a person or persons get away with something like this when it's covered nationality by literally every news network in existence and it's publicly been mentioned by the president of the United States? Further who has pledged the full support of the federal government.

Yes. Miss, we’re going to kidnap you, but first we’ll pack you a travel bag before we go. Which body wash do you prefer? And we think three outfits will be enough. But we may go to a nice dinner one evening, so which black dress would you like to take? And are there any other things you’d like? Some snacks? Drinks? Maybe a six pack of ensure? Oh, and we almost forgot your life sustaining medication. Phew that was close! Ok we’re off! This will be such a fun little trip!
But did they grab her meds or not

Inside job knowing what meds she needs and having supply before-hand. Leave hers behind. No evidence she's alive now.
Sheriff painting a verbal picture of optimism is a bit fishy, too. His department doesn't seem ordinary in this case.
For no reason other than gut feeling I'm leaning toward Tomasso being in on this somehow.

Is he talking more than normal?
I thought generally LEOs were pretty quiet in these situations?

It’s often family or someone very close to the family in instances like this. Very odd they won’t say who brought her home that night. But like I said earlier, if he’s the one that did it, the sister would have to be in on it as he would have been gone from at least 1-3am.

Trump said something last night indicating they have more clues in regards to who it is.

This is Annie’s husband, right? Why are people suspecting him? I’m genuinely asking, I don’t know and have been busy with work so I’ve only been casually following this, even though I made the damn thread
But seriously, what’s the deal with him?
Posted on 2/7/26 at 8:30 am to TDsngumbo
He looks guilty is the main reason.

I think its natural to look at someone close to the family. Obviously its not Savannah. The brother could be, but he wasn't involved in the happenings the night before, which leaves Annie, her husband, and I think I read they have a son.
Confirmed that Annie and Tomasso were the last family members to see her and one of them dropped her off at home. The police won't say which one did, just that someone at the dinner that was family did.
I think you give benefit of the doubt to someone doing this to their own mom, so that leaves Tomasso and the kid, who we don't know anything about.
Again, theres no hard proof and its all conjecture at this point.

What’s the Agatha Christie twist
she appears at the Super Bowl ? Hope they find her soon

No the Sheriff gave 3 different stories. At one point he said it was Annie and her husband together who brought her home. Another time he said it was just the husband. And finally he said "let's just say it was family and leave it at that."

Fwiw I did a cursory dive into whether or not the FBI has ever had a case where they assisted the family (or company) pay a ransom. Two things came up.
First of which is the Colonial pipeline in 2021 where the FBI did in fact assist in paying for the ransomware removal tool. Russian FSB ended up arrested a few of that group (Darkside). I believe the total was $4M and the FBI was able to claw back 60% which had already torpedoed in value.
Secondly, a company I do work with on occasion just had their whole network compromised. FBI is on the scene and they have elected to pay it - it’s about $2M. Also via bitcoin which apparently can be traced to a certain extent. Not sure how that works exactly though.
