Agree that's irritating too. Don't bring a bag that barely fits into the bin onto the plane. If you have to shove it in there to make it fit, it's too big.

I am sure this has been looked into and isn't possible, but I would love if airlines charged for carry-on bags that need to be put in the overhead and let checked bags on for free. Then, they could board from front to back to make things much smoother. People wouldn't be anxious about getting on the plane because their spot for their bag is already guaranteed.

Boarding group 1 line looking around all pissy because there’s 4-5 other member groups with higher priority being called first even though they’ve been in line for 45 minutes.

I don’t line up but I stand up.

When you’re tall and facing long flights you get as much time standing as possible before getting locked into the gen pop seating on modern airlines.

I am always last to board. No matter my "herd" number. I am not tall enough for overheads, I pack light and my bag goes at my feet.

well the aisle can only accommodate so many travelers. Unless you're a dwarf, no one of average height is going to be able to stand up under the overhead storage. So the alternative of staying seated is preferable to hunching over half way in one's seat or wedging into the aisle with all the other overachievers who clog the plane as TDs described.

And you could always offer to assist the weakling with their bag instead of standing there in a state of selfish annoyance.

I stand in the aisle asap to prevent the inconsiderate assholes from running from the back to get to the front of the plane and not waiting their turn to deplane.

Nobody cares about your Premier Silver status baw. With that being said, I board last even being in group 1. Don't want extra time on the plane I don't need.

Exactly. Why would I want to get in your cramped seat on your plane any earlier than I have to?

Imagine the value of your life revolving around your airline and hotel status

What a miserable existence

That doesn't bother me NEARLY as much as all the frickfaces who immediately stand up after the plan lands, they grab their shite out of the overhead bins, and just stand there for 15 minutes waiting for the door to open. It doesn't affect me at all, but it irritates the shite out of me. Like wtf do they expect to gain by standing and immediately grabbing their shite, only to stand there holding their shite for 15 minutes before being able to walk off?

I loathe the ones that rush to the front of the plane, assuming they don't have a connecting flight, and you can tell the people that do or don't. However, if i'm sitting on a plane for 3 hours, when it lands, i'm going to stand up by my seat, as long as i can do so without my body being in my neighbors face. I don't like to sit down for hours on end. I am tall and need to stretch my legs.
