All the hot wives in my hood have Rover Sports.

My wife drives a 2013 that we bought new. That motherfricker is indestructible. Two toddlers have thrown everything they could at it and it just carries on. It also tows like a full size pickup. Has every bell and whistle you could want.
The bad: gas mileage is atrocious. Also it rides like a truck. It’s tourqy, but def not fast.
Solid vehicle all around.

Yeah mine is a 2019 with the V6 and going strong. I still have the Jeep I just gave it to my son to drive while his FJ cruiser sits under my carport. I still like the option of being able to drive with the top off. I need to sell that FJ if anyone is looking for a great vehicle for a teenager.
Traded in my Wrangler for…another Wrangler. My daughter wanted another Jeep and she has me wrapped around her little finger.
For those saying the 4Runner is underpowered, just get a Pedal Commander. It won’t give it more power, but at least it will accelerate like it’s supposed to.

Wife is in the market for a new vehicle, and she really likes the 4Runner.
Overall, what has your experience been if you own or owned one?
Looking for comfort, reliability, and performance from those who have or had one
Daughter has one going on 10 yrs. She still loves it. Has been very dependable to this point despite my daughter not doing a thing to keep it up. Many women like it because it sits high and can see better.

Wife’s 2020 trd pro with the fox shocks and rides better then my f150.
Fuel mileage not the best.
No mechanical issues so far.
Looks way better then any other mid sized vehicle in my opinion.

I was originally looking at 4Runners and ended up with a GX. I have zero regrets. It’s been a beast and is comfortable.

4Runner is basically a truck as others have said. They are loud and drive like a truck.
Toyota trucks are not even comfortable as trucks go.

Incorrect, but hey... who takes their daily driver to that kind of risk? $$$

At $75K (which is a little more than what the Lexus GX goes for):
$10K down payment
36 months financing
Excellent credit score (740 +)
7.29 % APR
$2,299 per month
Same factors from above but:
60 months financing
$1,482 per month
Same factors from scenario 1:
72 months financing
$1,298 per month

I also felt the 4Runners and Toyotas in general while being reliable, always felt a solid 10-15 years behind on tech and features.
I think this helps with the reliability

Wont give it any more power. Just better throttle response.
